Michela and her... read more We have just spent the most amazing days with Michela at L’Aroula. The refuge is tucked away in a quiet spot just off the piste near Champoluc. Michela and her team made sure that we were well looked after and had everything we needed. On arrival we were collected from the Gondola by skidoo, quite a novelty. We spent the days skiing in the ski area. We were very lucky with the weather, with a few days of snow and then loads of sunshine. It is easy to ski up to the front door and a minute walk up to the slope in the morning. The accommodation is warm and comfortable. We had the apartment which has a little living room and kitchenette within it. The apartment has a spacious main bedroom with a little attached area for a child. The other rooms are small but cozy. The food far exceeded my expectations. We were treated to courses every night, with many selections and a daily special. I didn’t quite have every choice on the menu, but everything that I did have was delicious. The chef makes all the cakes, croissants, pasta etc on site. The wine selection was amazing and very reasonable.
