The calderita had tender pieces of beef small fried potatoes. quite large delicious. The other tapa had 2 small empanadas (stuffed with ground beef? quite tasty. The montadito was a small chorizo sandwich. Tasty food, good value.

Tasca Quitapena is a tapas resturant which is full of spanish families always a good sign. The choice is vast, the portion sizes great and the ambience pure spanish. A meal for 4 was about 30 euros, We were spending 60 70 euros in the other restaurants, so this was really good value. I think we had about 8 or 9 platito (small side plate size) of tapas, which was more than enough for all of us. Some came with chips too so the kids were happy! Only down side, some of the menu items had sold out but I guess that just shows how popular it is! I would haertily recommend this restaurant and thank you to trip advisor including them in their site.

Always make it in here at least once while we are in Ayamonte.
