Oh my goodness! Such amazing sushi and sake! The yellowtail sushi was incredible and our favorite. We also enjoyed the spicy tuna and the crunchy salmon. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and made us feel like we were really important for the evening. My sake flight was a fun way to try various samples. I strongly recommend this to anyone who even remotely likes sushi!

The food and service at Sakaba both were beyond our expectations (which were high). As a signature restaurant in one of the most beautiful Ritz-Carlton properties in the country, you should expect premium prices. However, the tastes and experience justifythose prices, especially for a special treat!

Sakaba is more than it?s Japanese namesake, more than a simple upscale sushi bar in a resort. Sakaba is the GO TO sushi restaurant in Vail. Sakaba is a full foodie experience, serving food that is beyond words for how deliciously divine. Pair thatwith the friendliness wait staff who are without a doubt the best in the world. The entire meal from start to finish was a feastfor the senses. Each course is stunningly plated. Each sushi and sashimi dish is unique and delectable with something trulyspecial that the chefs have infused into each of them and I recommend adding extra fresh wasabi, to give the sushi a smoothspiciness that enhances the already mouth watering pieces. For a main course the Miso Black Cod is a must for all seafoodlovers. And for dessert one must try the Miso Crème Brûlée as it is so inventive and works beautifully. The miso brings aunique Japanese taste to the classic dessert that makes it a delight. Of course, if a dinner guest has not a sweet tooth, theHamachi as a dessert is a refreshing after meal closer.

This restaurant has no atmosphere what so ever and their prices are off the charts. It is a sushi restaurant but it?s not Nobu. The sashimi comes with one piece starting at $20 per piece. Their are to many other amazing restaurants in the Beaver Creek areato ever go back to this one.

The patio heaters were uncomfortably hot. We asked several times, but none of the staff were able to address the issue. Our female server was quite inattentive, and when she did pay attention, it felt excessive as she relentlessly tried to upsell us. Overall, it left us with a negative impression.
