Last minute reservations were made for 8:00 clock, as nothing was available earlier. we arrived 15-30 minutes early and the hostesses were friendly and accommod... read more Last minute reservations were made for 8:00 clock, as nothing was available earlier. we arrived 15-30 minutes early and the hostesses were friendly and accommodating. we sat in a room without other guests close. fondue for 2 and the brüssel sprouts appetizer were ordered for our party of 3. the aromen were amazing so we added another order of the brüssel spouts as side for the entreen. the pork and calf carvings were divided among us 3 and were plentiful. unique flavors on taking German potato salad added the meal. if you can't decide, go for the black option. amys service was excellent and we would highly recommend eating at the creations of the chef adam. the only disappointment was not enough room to inquire about dessert.

I have to say, Blue Plate is a must-visit restaurant that I can't believe I missed before. The Mediterranean dish I tried was one of the most beautiful and delicious meals I've ever had. The staff was incredibly attentive, making me feel welcome and almost like family. It was a great experience to personally thank the chef for my meal. Chef Adam is clearly very skilled in his craft. If you're in Avon, be sure not to miss out on this place.
