The seafood lasagna was mostly imitation crab meat, the service substandard, and the manager rude. As I said, if all you want is pizza this may be your kind of place, but if you want good food do yourself a favor and head elsewhere. It 's inexpensive... and it 's cheap.

Il Focolare was recommended by the friend who took us there. The owner of the restaurant was a big, bluff, friendly man, who was attentive to all of his customers. Portions were hearty, and the food was simple and tasty. There was nothing pretentious about any of this, and it was very welcome. Everything from the simple gnocchi with tomato sauce to the little handcut chips, to the pizza looked as if they had come straight out of an Italian home kitchen: in each case, two or three ingredients were put together to produce something lovely and undemanding. If you want something fancy, this isn't it. The room was simple, bread was served straight onto the paper tablecloth and the house red wine was robust. It was peasant food, but it didn't pretend to be otherwise. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal I ate at Il Focolare, and the atmosphere generated by the gregarious host only added to the experience.

The owner also came out and served us we were really treated great it's a really friendly family owned restaurant! We had the capricciosa salad for starter, wine, a capricciosa pizza and two different desserts!!! All of the food and wine was superb! It was truly one of our favorite meals! One of the best restaurants in Aviles! The recipes are from Italy and it shows! We were very impressed by the salad, then the pizza came out and we didn't want to stop eating it! But the desserts were also amazing! Muchas muchas gracias!

The restaurant is nice, the service perfect and the couple working in the kitchen prepares quiet good food. they make their own bread but ..... do not expect to... read more The restaurant is nice, the service perfect and the couple working in the kitchen prepares quiet good food. they make their own bread but ..... do not expect to get any real italian stuff . it sounds italian but it isn 't. bresaola is beef meat but you get some kind of pork ham, and the bistecca milanese is fried in oil and not prepared in a pan with butter etc.. but again all the stuff especially the cooks do their best and therefore 4 points.

We order mussels with a salsa that was very good, ham with very rich glass bread. and then , spaguetti carbonara , spaguetti to the Roman, lasagna, and two panties and dessert mousse of chocolate , strawberry mouse and two of tiramisu. two bottles of water , a bottle of oak protos . all 119euros . we do not reach 25 euros per person . quality food and very good service and attention. we will repeat without doubt
