Food is a regional product in the hands of original professionals
On holiday one week on the Avignon side, we were invited twice in this restaurant, with a full menu the first time and an aperitif the second. I've never spent so much money for a dinner at the restaurant. dishes presented impeccablely, but not only. the shape also corresponds to an excellent content of ingredients and flavors, all in the name of a perfect agreement.
Arrival at 9:15 pm (with reservation) departure 0h15, 3 hours interminable when not necessarily planned to spend as much time at the table and incidentally very uncomfortablely installed ( extremely low-end and uncomfortable terrace motor) . the feeling of being transparent, it was necessary to get up to get the coffee and the addition while we were the last in the restaurant!? about the dishes... difficult to be objective in these conditions... but rather disappointed also. the products seem of qualities but the flavors are not at the rendezvous and can be the salt too present on some dishes?! in the end a slightly salty addition (such as the dishes) with regard to a desolating service and a promise that has not been held.
Guided by cousins who are accustomed to the restaurant, I took a beautiful slap. If you are on the road, here is a restaurant that I strongly advise you: it has been a long time since I had not taken as much pleasure to let me be guided by the original and mastery cuisine of an Italian chef. It offers a fusion kitchen without denying its origins. and the value for money is perfect.
The anecdote is tasty, like the meal: the cook, because it is the lady who is at the furnace while the man is at the service, in his Italian childhood was often referred to the bottom of the room of the class, which was worth a tonitruant "italie, there"...I don't know if the cook was in his dreamy or distracted youth, but today she is dessert
