Had dinner in this popular restaurant during a short stay in aviemore. the hotel is located in the center with very friendly staff. popular and do not take preb... read more Had dinner in this popular restaurant during a short stay in aviemore. the hotel is located in the center with very friendly staff. popular and do not take prebookings so they may have to wait. our waiting lasted only about 10 minutes. good choice on menu, large print menus. on the wall for those who need it. recommend them salmon with fresh veg and squid and chips. good size shares, fast service and excellent prices. worth a visit.

The menu mostly consists of traditional Scottish pub food, but there are not many options for vegetarians or vegans and they lack creativity. I tried the Field Mushroom Burger, which was just a portobello mushroom on a bun. They do offer dishes like Mac and cheese or nachos without meat, but I wouldn't recommend them for vegans since they are loaded with cheese.
