The eggplant dish was popular and really awesome. We went there nearly Sunday noon and were very enjoyable. The noodle with sliced cucumber was seasoned great as well, also the egg tart dessert ended up our brunch with fulfillment.
This place deserves a 5 star review, everything was done right. I truly enjoyed the happy hour appetizers and drinks. We ordered the pecan shrimp as well and it was really good, pecans tasted like candy just a nice crunch with the shrimp. Chicken fried ricewas really good as well. The only reason for the 4 star review, was due to the dumplings not being a bit hotter. The temperaturemakes them easier to eat but I would want them hotter, besides that everything was great
The food here was sooo good. The mapo dofu was excellent, very light with good spice, well paired with the rice. The salt and pepper squid was also lightly fried in a delicious batter with a white pepper spice rub that made it juicy and slightly tangy. The chili chicken was also excellent and the eggplant had so much flavor with the sweet and savory sauce also going well withthe rice. The Shanghai soup dumplings were also delicious! Staff was very helpful and attentive definitely a great place totry a variety of delicious Chinese dishes!
I would have given this place 4.5 literally but I had to make a choice and I have to give 4 when I consider some small imperfections. First, the prices are quite affordable when considering the portions and location. The waitresses are kind andhelpful. Crispy Sesame Beef was among the best I've ever tried. Fried rice were average, Beef Chow Fun were above the average. However, dumplings were unfortunately below my expectations. They were not hot and the dough did not have the proper texture. This is a nice place to have your dinner overall. I recommend it.
Moo shu was added to the menu and was the best dish we had that night! The orange beef and fried chicken were also delicious! The honey pecan prawn dish wasn't as saucy and sweet than it was when we had it a couple of years ago. It took awhile to get the check but overall a nice date night! Will go back!
