The dining experience at this restaurant is fantastic. The menu is slightly limited compared to what one might expect from a dim sum-only establishment. The portion sizes are a bit small for the price, which may be typical for the market. My Shumai order was delayed, but the staff handled the situation by removing it from the bill and offering another item as an apology. If you don't have a reservation on a Sunday, b... What Anonym dislikes about Wu Chow:
We came in with high hopes and left disappointed. The bird nest seafood dish had no taste. The soup dumplings all had holes so the soup leaked before we could eat them only to find them greasy and unimpressive. The staff was nice an courteous but the dishes we ordered took over 30 minutes to arrive.Overall I'd say it was way overpriced and way underwhelming. I visited this restaurant on Christmas and had a fantastic experience! Despite my family's demanding nature, Taylor provided excellent service. The food was outstanding, particularly the family-style option that allowed us to try a bit of everything. The service was top-notch, surpassing our expectations.
We ate outside on the patio. Great experience. We enjoyed the Shanghai soup dumplings.
We had a great time during our visit to this restaurant. They were very accommodating when we had a last-minute change in the number of guests. The menu was extensive, so our waitress was able to give us some good recommendations. We ordered Dry Fried Local Green Beans, Salt and Pepper Squid, Seafood Bird's Nest, Shanghai Soup Dumplings, Chengdu Chilli Chicken, Singapore Noodles, Prawns (possibly Chengdu or honey pecan Gulf prawns), Thyme Me Up Virgin, and Vegan Ice Cream, all of which had a unique taste. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, and there is a self-parking lot across the street.
The eggplant dish was popular and really awesome. We went there nearly Sunday noon and were very enjoyable. The noodle with sliced cucumber was seasoned great as well, also the egg tart dessert ended up our brunch with fulfillment.
This place deserves a 5 star review, everything was done right. I truly enjoyed the happy hour appetizers and drinks. We ordered the pecan shrimp as well and it was really good, pecans tasted like candy just a nice crunch with the shrimp. Chicken fried ricewas really good as well. The only reason for the 4 star review, was due to the dumplings not being a bit hotter. The temperaturemakes them easier to eat but I would want them hotter, besides that everything was great
