Put down your chopsticks; this is the ultimate Omakase spot in town. Unlike some other places, this restaurant doesn’t take its time with a slow service. You’ll arrive, be seated, served promptly, and then you're on your way. Each bite is exquisite and presented in just the right sequence, without any awkward delays between courses. The sake flight is thoughtfully curated, but if you’re not in the mood for sake, they offer a great selection of other drinks. This sushi bar truly delivers on all its promises. Enjoy your meal!

Uroko offers the best value for omakase in Austin. You can enjoy a 10-piece omakase for under $100, and they consistently have a great selection of premium sake. The temaki during normal hours is also outstanding. I highly recommend trying the mackerel along with a bottle of Dassai 45. I can't wait to return for the sushi classes!

I had an amazing casual Omakase experience in East Austin. There are only about six people sharing this experience with you, which makes it even more intimate. The two staff members are Japanese and very friendly. It’s tough to pick a favorite from the twelve pieces we had because they were all so delicious. In terms of pricing, it’s reasonably priced for an Omakase meal—around $80 without alcohol, tax, or tip. I highly recommend Uroko and can't wait to go back!

Our first omakase and it was a great experience. The fish was so fresh and the flavors, amazing. We went in with an open mind, even after having bad experiences with scallop and uni and am so glad because they blew any other sushi experience out of the water. Great bang for your buck as far as omakase goes, would absolutely go again.

This is for TONARI at Uroko. Great omakase in a limited seating setting. 12 courses with a sake pairing. The sushi was very good and presented well. The sake pairing was very good! Even though the dinner was quick (limited to an hour) it was good and priced accordingly. Only wish would be to take one of the five daily seatings out to extend the dinners so the delicious food is better appreciated and settles in the stomach better.
