The food was unimpressive. I ordered a basic biscuits and gravy, and while the BLT was acceptable, it was the last dish to arrive and was ultimately just an average BLT. I genuinely wish I could give this place zero stars because it truly deserves it. The only people I would recommend this restaurant to are those I don't like, as my experience was absolutely terrible.
The charming cabins located in the heart of the Texas hill country make for a perfect family getaway. **Pros:** There are play areas for children, and the beds are comfy enough to easily fit a big group. **Cons:** The living space could benefit from additional seating, and it appears that cleaning has been somewhat neglected. **Overall:** I would recommend it to a friend as my second choice.
We spent a night at this place and had an amazing experience. The cabins are simple yet cozy and well-equipped. The bathhouse was exceptionally clean and well-organized. I highly recommend staying here!
UPDATE: The biscuits and gravy here are absolutely life-changing! Check out the photo. Make sure to arrive early because they sell out fast. This is an excellent spot for brunch! If you’re a fan of grilled cheese, you’ll love their delicious, locally sourced options at reasonable prices. There’s plenty of outdoor space to roam, with play sets for both kids and adults, including a bean bag toss, horseshoes, and even a chicken coop with real chickens. Large outdoor dining and seating areas make it a great place to relax. The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming. Overall, an amazing place—we’re so happy we found it! It’s BYOB or champagne, and they offer fresh orange juice for your mimosas.
