First of all the food was GREAT! Our table ordered the meat and cheese board and the artichoke hearts, I had the pancakes. I wanted to LOVE this cute little place but came away disappointed. When I got to the restaurant around 11, I was told a table for 4 would be around an hour and half wait, so we got some mimosas and sat down to wait. First outside and then a seating area opened up inside beside the bar (which was nice because it was hot)! While we waited, a couple different times we saw tables open up and when I would ask how much longer, the answer was always, “we have to clear and set the table so, about 8 minutes”. I did witness people who definitely came after us, get seated before us. When we finally got seated, no apology for the wait. A small gesture like that can make the issue, a non-issue! Our table was under an air conditioning vent that kept dripping water on my friend. When we mentioned it to our waiter he just said, “oh yeah, that just started happening, we’re getting someone out here to fix it”. So, if you knew there was a problem with the water dripping, why not move the table, apologize?? Other than that, he was nice. I noticed a plant that had a large spider web covering the entire top of the plant. My friend used the restroom and in the stall she used she saw 3 red ants. These small things added up to an annoying experience that could’ve been handled very differently. I won’t be going back.Parking: Very limited.
Very small restaurant so def would recommend making reservations. We had a party of 7 and sat outside with a fan and plenty of shading. My absolute fav are the blueberry pancakes, yogurt parfait, and of course the chocolate chip cookies. Very nice brunch place!Food: 5/5
This is a tiny place with a nice feel. The food is very tasty and everything is fresh and well prepared. The chocolate cake was amazing and if i could eat just that i would. Service was good and we took our time ordering and enjoying our meal.Food: 5/5
Bar service was exceptional, especially since there was only one bartender for the entire establishment. He moved effortlessly without sign of stress. Fried green tomatoes was tempura style and salty. Not a fan Everything else was delicious! The musicwould/can most definitely put you to sleep on a weeknight
Came here for a date night. We sat outside but it had just rained so there weren’t many other people outside. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio and the fig and prosciutto without prosciutto. My partner had the burger and fries. The pizza was good, we didn’ttry any of the appetizers. I wish they had a vegetarian entree. Still a good dining experience overall.
