Tatsumi Sushi - Austin

I’ve been to many sushi places, but this one stands out as a gem! The owner, Tiffany, makes every visit memorable with her genuine care for customers. The fish here is remarkably fresh, offering a true taste of the ocean. Their chicken teriyaki is among the best I’ve ever had. And if you’re lucky enough to visit when the oysters are available, don’t miss out! They’re simply out of this world. Highly recommended for an exceptional sushi experience!

It is the most authentic Japanese i had in Austin area, the seafood is fresh and all stuff are pretty Japanese

I absolutely love Tatsumi and feel it deserves more attention. Having moved back to Texas from California, I found it difficult to find a place that focused on the freshness and flavor of the fish rather than experimental sushi dishes. Don't get me wrong, there are other great sushi spots in town but Tatsumi is perfect for delicious sushi in a more low key environment. Chef Elvin is incredible and would highly suggest sitting at the bar when you go. My boyfriend and I love going here and they always surprise us with amazing flavors. We love the chili hamachi, scallop nigiri, crab nigiri, king salmon nigiri, and a highlight was the milk toast and a to-die-for mushroom risotto. Dishes have a beautiful presentation and the service is always impeccable.Parking: Parking is easy

Tatsumi has ruined any other sushi spot for me. It is amazingly delicious! The fish melts in your mouth. Tiffany, the owner, is a gem. She is incredibly knowledgeable and ensures that she understands your likes/dislikes so that your experience is top notch. I highly recommend Tatsumi!!

Absolutely phenomenal! Elvin the chef incredible, sushi surpassed our expectations, we couldn’t stop ordering.Tiffany the hostess was so kind, check on us constantly and her and the waiter made such great suggestions. We didn’t make any reservations and they were able to accommodate 4 without us waiting.We will definitely come back and recommend 10/10.
