This is a GREAT! Old world style pizzeria...it's small and in downtown Austin and walking distance from most of the hotels. Would highly recommend. Honestly. Amazon quality pizza if you enjoy true Italian style but very thin if you don’t know. Personally I prefer it. It is on the expensive side. Also inside the downtown location is very small, so consider that before you go out also there is no parking lot so you’ll have to find parking downtown. View all feedback.
The pizza was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Meatball Madness Pizza Carnevale and "The Pig" special pizza. The dough had the perfect combination of softness, chewiness, and a nice char. The salt level was spot on, and the flavors were delightful. The only reason I couldn't give it a full 5 stars was the poor service. I paid in advance and picked up the pizza to go from the restaurant, and the person at the counter was very unfriendly; he wouldn't even acknowledge my presence. I stood right in front of him for several seconds before finally saying, “Hi, I have a pickup order for [my name]…” He then turned around, grabbed my order, and handed it over without saying a word or making eye contact. It was quite an awkward experience. Thankfully, the pizza was so excellent that I would definitely return.
Authentic Italian pizza—there's really nothing more to add. Be sure to try the Diavola. Let’s give a shoutout to Marinara!
I highly recommend this place! At first glance, it may not seem like much due to its small size and limited seating, giving off a bit of a low-cost vibe. However, once you order the pizzas, it's a whole different story. They are mouth-watering and absolutely delicious—you'll want to eat until you're completely satisfied! The person taking our order was nice and attentive, ensuring that we found a place to enjoy our amazing pizza. We also tried the cannoli, which was another fantastic dessert! You really have to experience it for yourself!
Wish you could just grab a slice! But the whole pie was delicious anyway : super small indoor seating but moved fast and very cute date spot.
