The pernil arroz con gandulees is absolutely mind blowing! The yucca is also mouthwatering. For those of you who have never been to Puerto Rico, save yourself a trip because this is as Puerto Rican as Puerto Rican food gets! Jose has absolutelymastered the flavor of the culinary Caribbean island flavors.
Talk about some amazing authentic goodness prepared fresh by the owner who delivered us perfection on every thing our party of four ordered.
Mofongo in Austin?? So so pleasantly surprised to find some and it lived up to my expectation. Even had chicharrones in it. The staff were nice and were blasting Bad Bunny (a positive). My only complaints are that the Mofongo was $11 and they are cash only
Meh. I cook better, but not gonna roast a pork leg just for me and my wife. Food was okay, but lacking a lot of key ingredients in its seasoning. Very limited menu and even then, some stuff in the menu wasn't even available. And I went early, so it wasn'tthat they ran out. Born and raised in the island, this is very far away from the real thing. It's like rican food gor gringos.
