Everything was delicious from the food to the drinks to dessert. Our server was excellent and gave great recommendations and we never felt there was a long lull in between visits to the table. Love this place!

We still had room for dessert, and... read more We were pleasantly surprised when the restaurant surprised my wife with a small birthday treat that wasn't even on the menu. We still had room for dessert, and the seasonal rhubarb pudding was absolutely incredible! We can't wait to come back. Also, be sure to grab a drink at the historic bar, which was brought all the way from Manhattan, NYC!

However, the drinks are considerably better than the food, which sadly does not live up to expectations. The dishes are overly seasoned, and we learned upon arrival that there is a new head chef, which is intriguing, but it seems like they haven’t quite mastered the use of salt yet. To be honest, I came in with low expectations, and the menu felt rather uninspired. While the presentation of the meals is visually appealing, I question whether the ingredients truly enhance the flavors and if they work well together. Are the line cooks executing their tasks correctly? For instance, my pasta was undercooked. There’s a lot of improvement needed to match the beautiful interior and ambiance that this place provides. I’m not likely to return for the food anytime soon. In fact, the photos I took turned out better than the actual dishes.
