Feedback
Cuba 512 offers a mixed dining experience that leaves patrons divided. While some cherish its vibrant mojitos and generous portions of well-prepared Cuban dishes—like a delectable Cubano—others express disappointment in the food's seasoning and preparation. Critical reviews highlight issues with flavor, overcooked items, and inconsistent service, raising concerns about management responsiveness. Despite these setbacks, guests appreciate the restaurant's lively atmosphere and friendly staff, suggesting potential for improvement if culinary standards are met. With a need for better consistency, Cuba 512 stands at a crossroads, waiting for a revival that could truly honor Cuban cuisine.
I am Cuban-American and I wanted to love this place. I even gave him two drinks. Unfortunately, it was a break. the Lechon-Asado was decent, but a little dry. the Cuban sandwich was excessively fat and bland. it urgently needed more senf and pickles. the croquetas were horrific bad! Not only were they dry, but they didn't taste like a croquette I had ever grown up in miami. the only saving gnade was the delusion, perfect.
The ropa vieja was good, but the black beans were not seasoned at all, the coffee was NOT café cubano. The mariquitas that I ordered were ok, but the sauce that came with it was not good. I got the impression they had a lazy chef or it’s not a Cuban cooking
I went to this restaurant and the service was terrible I have the server a reasonable tip to later find out through my bank statement that my tip was tripled. I called many times and asked to speak to the owner and was given the run around. I showed up in person and right off the bat was given my refund in cash. Still I did not get to speak to the owner/ manager. Always double check your bank statements this is out right stealing and should be a fire able offense.
