Food was very good for those on the health kick. Wings are off the chain also. People were friendly, food was fresh.
I have heard great reviews about Chi 'Lantro and how it 's a must-try when in Austin, TX. Maybe it 's for other people, but it was definitely not for me. The flavor of the food was very strong, and the food was very heavy. I ordered Kimchi Fries and Chi 'Lantro 's Limited-Time Quesadillas. Both were very filling, but they were also very heavy. I was unable to finish either one of them. Aside from the flavor, nothing really stood out. I don 't know if I 'll visit again, but if I do, I 'd look into some recommendations of some lighter food.
A straightforward plant-based kitchen offering dishes served in bowls or tortillas.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Chilantro. It was a relaxed and quiet fast-casual spot. The ladies behind the counter were incredibly sweet and attentive, making it fun to chat with them while placing our order. Speaking of the friendly staff, they definitely know how to make delicious food. We tried the rice bowl, and as someone who tends to prefer meat, I found the meat to be flavorful and tender, perfectly complementing the rest of the bowl. The rice was fluffy and delicious, while the corn and greens were fresh. We enjoyed our meal indoors before heading to an outdoor table to finish our drinks while waiting for our Uber. I would recommend both seating areas; although I don't believe the outdoor area is covered, it wasn't raining during our visit, so I can't say for sure.
Chi'Lantro offers really tasty food, but it’s a bit of a step down from the great meals it used to serve. Their bowls are still good, but the burger—once a standout item—is no longer regularly available. The kimchi fries are excellent and definitely worth a try. It’s a healthy option, and you’re likely to have a pleasant experience. Just keep in mind that Chi'Lantro was once considered one of the best food trucks in Austin, and it has now evolved into another pretty good restaurant in the area.
Chi'Lantro offers a unique Asian fusion dining experience with a fast-casual Chipotle-style service. Although some diners found the brown rice texture unpleasant and felt that the Asian options were lacking, the service received high marks for friendliness. Unfortunately, a few patrons reported getting sick after eating at the restaurant and called for a health inspection. On a more positive note, others praised the flavorful dishes, especially highlighting the Soy Glazed Chicken and the variety of menu choices. The sweet potato noodles, house sauces, and the option to add a fried egg were noted as standout features. The restaurant also received accolades for accommodating vegan and vegetarian diets. Customers also commended Chi'Lantro for its fresh and hot food, friendly service, and cozy ambiance. Despite some issues with order accuracy and noise levels in the kitchen, visitors overall enjoyed their meals and expressed a desire to return to try more items from the menu.

This place is an Asian fusion restaurant. The service style is like a Chipotle, but this place has fresh Asian style carbs and proteins to choose from. The sweet potato noodles are a great change to the normal choices. They have 5 plus house sauces to choose from. Adding a fried egg is a must. The staff was friendly and willing to answer questions about the menu. Great place to try.
This was my first experience dining at this restaurant. I had some reservations about missing out on Mexican and Chinese cuisine, but I was completely mistaken! I was extremely happy with my meal and will definitely be returning. The manager, Frank, was very professional, kind, personable, and had a great sense of humor. Food: 5/5.
My friend and I became seriously ill after dining at this location on Thursday. I typically visit other Chilantro branches, but I will NEVER return to this one. We both ordered the Kpop chicken and soy chicken in our bowls, and one (or both) of those dishes gave us food poisoning. I believe the health department should inspect this restaurant immediately.
The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of Korean-style bowls, all situated in a prime location near the Q2 stadium. The service was incredibly friendly and quick. The food itself was excellent and reasonably priced. I really hope they expand to Florida!
The brown rice was the worst I've ever had; I couldn't even finish half the bowl due to its mushy texture. Additionally, I didn't quite understand the concept of Asian fusion, as there were hardly any Asian dishes on the menu. The only positive aspect of my visit was the service; the staff was incredibly friendly and kind.

Chi'Lantro is a Korean BBQ restaurant with a Chipotle-style concept. I ordered the noodle bowl featuring Korean BBQ steak, caramelized kimchi, grilled corn, and Korean esquites. While I typically enjoy corn, I wasn’t fond of their grilled corn or the esquites; there was something about their flavor that didn’t sit right with me. However, I found the rest of the dish to be really delicious, and I would certainly order the noodle bowl with steak and caramelized kimchi again.
Oh my goodness, the best food I've ever had—it's officially my new obsession! You have to try the kimchi fries; they taste like heaven!
I visited this restaurant for the first time after getting a recommendation from someone familiar with the food truck scene, and I wasn't disappointed. I tried the spicy pork rice bowl with kimchi, and it was delicious. The line moved quickly, and there was plenty of seating available, making it an ideal spot for lunch. I would definitely return to explore more items on the menu.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere at this Chilantro. It was a relaxed and quiet fast-casual spot. The ladies behind the counter were incredibly sweet and attentive, making it fun to talk and place our orders with them. Personally, I believe that friendly staff contributes to delicious food, and this team was definitely friendly. We ordered the rice bowl, and as someone who leans more toward the carnivore side, I found the meat to be flavorful and tender, which complemented the rest of the bowl perfectly. The rice was fluffy and delicious, and the corn and greens were fresh. We sat at the high-tops inside while we waited for our Uber, and we finished our drinks at an outside table. I would recommend both seating areas; however, I'm not certain if the outside area is covered, as it wasn't raining during our visit.
Chi'Lantro serves tasty food, but it used to be truly exceptional. Their bowls are flavorful, but the burger, which is rarely available now, was remarkable. The kimchi fries are a must-try and incredibly enjoyable. It's a healthy choice, and you can have a great dining experience there. However, it’s important to note that Chi'Lantro was once considered one of the best food trucks in Austin, and it has now become just another decent restaurant in the area.

Enjoy plant-based cuisine in a bowl or wrapped in a tortilla.
