Delicious, although a bit pricey the food is good I have no problem paying that price knowing I'm going to get good food
Food: the sesame crusted dishes like the ahi tuna, shrimp, and calamari were good! Also like the bread and butter they started us with. However the Cobb salad was just ok, a little drenched with much dressing, the jerk chicken was over cooked. Service: came during a weekday lunch, service was quite slow.
Reservations were not honored today, Mother's Day. We waited 35 minutes to get seated (despite seeing patio open and 3 tables inside open within feet from the front door. Manager said they were cleaning up from brunch crowd. So several 3pm parties waited 30+ minutes. Question to restaurant: Did you know about the brunch AND the afternoon reservations the day before? What about parties that had other events planned after the meal? Food was great, service was poor.
Staff was super friendly, but service was horrible. Raw oysters were delicious. Rest of the food we ordered was average. I had my four year old with me and we waited ~30 minutes just to have our order taken. Instead of the popcorn shrimp kids meal, Iasked to sub with grilled shrimp and was charged double. I waited over 45 minutes just to get my food. Then, I never saw mywaiter again and had to flag someone else to get my check. For a $120 meal between me and my son, I left feeling sorelydisappointed.
My husband and I were looking for a brunch place close to home and we chose this place since they had a nice vegetarian brunch selection. Our server, Morgan E., was great. She was friendly, smiley, and she was on top of tea refills. We really appreciatefriendly and attentive (but not chatty) service and she impressed us. The restaurant was clean and nice. My husband's migas weredelicious and he will definitely order those again. My berry French toast was okay. It seemed like it either wasn't soaked longenough or that it had been sitting around in a heating dish for too long because it was kind of dry and the crust part was extrahard. It wasn't bad, and the whipped cream added enough moisture so that I ate it all, but it could have been much better. Itcould have been a one-off though so who knows. Also, I think any brunch place in Texas should offer cold brew or iced coffee, which they didn't have. Overall, the place was well run, clean, and everyone seemed busy and seemed to be helping each otherout. We had a nice time and will likely be back for brunch.
