Was Eric Bliss at Bufalina Due a mag?
I'm not sure what happened to my last review, but once again, Bufalina exceeded my expectations. The Roasted Mushroom and Fresca pizzas were excellent, and the seasonal mozzarella we had before the pizzas was absolutely divine— the mushrooms really elevated the dish. Our bottle of Nizza (Barbera) was delightful as well. The service here is always top-notch, earning a solid five stars. I’m eagerly anticipating the ope... View all feedback.
Fantastic appetizers and pizza! With a wide selection of Neapolitan pizza options, this is one of my favorite pizza places in Austin.
The pizza we ended up choosing was fantastic, featuring Chinese broccoli. The other pizzas looked equally amazing, and the bibb salad we shared was truly thrilling—a burst of flavor without a doubt. However, I must admit that my own shortcomings made the seating situation quite unpleasant. It's interesting how incredible food can sometimes be overshadowed by a single frustrating experience, leading to a decision not to return. We were offered the last community table, which had a baby with it, or a bar spot that could only accommodate one person comfortably. As a result, we squeezed in and ended up having one of the most uncomfortable dinners I can recall. I should have refused. There was actually a four-person table available, but I assumed it was reserved for four diners. In hindsight, I should have just asked to sit there. When we left, I noticed that only two people were seated at that table. I regret not being more assertive. Despite the seating issues, the pizza was outstanding, though perhaps the toppings are not the most kid-friendly.
The pizza was fantastic, and to my surprise, the pasta was just as delicious. I definitely need to return!
Excellent Neapolitan style pizza — I had the Margherita and was delighted at the high quality of the food! The wine selection here is really solid, and the staff is incredibly friendly! I can’t go without pizza for long, and we’ll definitely stop by the next time I’m in Austin!
