A&W - Austin
A&W
Description
At A&W/Long John's, recent experiences paint a mixed picture. Diners have enjoyed standout items like root beer floats and cod sandwiches, highlighting the friendly service and improved cleanliness of the establishment. However, consistent issues such as incorrect orders, cold fries, and a disruptive kitchen atmosphere detract from the overall experience. While a few patrons are optimistic about enhancements since previous visits, lingering concerns about service reliability and kitchen management persist. For those considering a visit, it's a gamble: you might relish a nostalgic meal or find yourself dissatisfied amidst operational shortcomings.

The food was excellent, but unfortunately there was a mistake during my drive-through experience where they forgot my order when I reached the window. They had to ask for my order again.
Reminded me of the past, enjoyed a Long John's meal with root beer. The restaurant was also very clean.
This restaurant has improved significantly since the last review. We ordered a root beer float, chocolate shake, and a cod sandwich. The service was very friendly and the sandwich was unexpectedly delicious. I was surprised that I didn't smell any waste water, although I didn't need to use the restroom.
The food was fantastic. However, they seemed to have forgotten my order when it was time to pick it up. They had to ask me to remind them what I had ordered.
The burger was good, except for the pile of 5 pickles in a drippy lump. The fries also had a lump, but at least they were nicely salted. The ketchup cups are a joke, pic to follow soon. Also, unless you have an account with Spectrum, you're not getting free WiFi at this location.
