The pub-restaurant located in central New York features a modern decor. The service provided by the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. However, I was let down by the quality of the food. While I understand that many restaurants are struggling with supply chain issues and staffing shortages due to the pandemic, I believe the food should still justify the prices charged. Overall, I would rate this establishment three stars.
I ordered the pulled pork special with fries, and while the sandwich was delicious and deserving of a 4-star rating, the soggy fries negatively impacted my overall experience. On a positive note, the service was attentive and prompt, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. However, I was disappointed to find out that the outdoor seating was closed for the season, as that was one of the main reasons we chose to eat there. I hope they will think about reopening it in the future.
I went to this restaurant on a Saturday for a relaxed lunch and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere feels like a cozy tavern. The Bacon-Squash Mac and Cheese was both delicious and hearty, making it great for sharing. I particularly enjoyed the unique feature of the Fargo moose logo toasted onto the top of the burger bun. Surprisingly, the pickle that accompanied the burger was outstanding, adding a delightful extra touch.
Charming bar in a lovely town, located just across the street from the Aurora Inn and the lake. Since the patio was full, we sat at the bar to eat. I really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and the fresh, delicious salad. My husband had the turkey club sandwich with fries, which was also excellent. The service was great, and the place was clean. Highly recommend!
