What Christian Müller doesn't like about Dining Hall:
While Rick's on Main nails the ambience part the food leaves a bit to be desired. The Seafood Pasta special while heavy on crab was undercooked on the pasta side and woefully under seasoned. A little lemon zest and maybe some capers would have really woken that dish up. The Fra Diavolo pasta had no zip and the pasta was also undercooked. Dinner was a little pricey but very delicious and filling. The banana pepper dip was outstanding and the steaks cooked to perfection. 10/10 it will be a place we come back to from time to time
We love to have lunch at Ricks. Something was different this time. The crab cakes were almost burned on the outside and lukewarm on the inside. The remoulade sauce was very different too. The beef souvlaki salad was good but the beef was in very large chunks. It was disappointing as we always look forward to the food there.
There is never a bad meal here. The quality of the food is excellent as well as the service. The cocktails are generous and perfectly presented. I would highly recommend lunch or dinner.
So glad my husband and I took the drive to East Aurora to broaden our horizons. Rick's on Main was absolutely delightful. The food was delicious! Our waiter had great recommendations. We are already planning our next date to return!
