Fantastic service, our waitress was Brooklyn and she was very nice and helpful! I tried the chicken noodle soup and my husband had the steak with asparagus and potatoes. Everything was amazing, the steak was super tender and the chicken noodle soup wasvery hearty. We also had the limoncello cake and that was great! Would definitely recommend stopping in.
Unfortunately this place has really gone downhill. We went for our anniversary dinner. The plates were about $30 each. I ordered the Prime Rib (rare) and after 40 minutes it came out white on each side, and pink in the middle, the top was also burnt? to behonest I thought they made a mistake and made pork. I assume it was frozen and they thawed it. I only ate some it and ended upgetting super sick when I got home! I was really disappointed for the price we paid. Way overpriced. The drinks were greatthough! This used to be the place to go- I remember how great it was when I was a kid growing up but definitely not anymore. Therestaurant could really use some updates as well it?s exactly the same as it has been for 10+ years.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant. We come up to Maine every summer and always look forward to going out to dinner here. The food is amazing, they have a very nice salad and bread bar as well as lobster. The service is also exceptional! Thisrestaurant deserves over 5 stars. Update for June 2021: Sadly because of being short staffed they have temporarily decreasedthe menu options which is a shame. The menu is much smaller for the time being, and has much fewer gluten free options.Hopefully the old, larger menu will be brought back soon.
A very pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the food was just okay. I personally thought it was overpriced for the quality. Crab cake appetizer was the only highlight. My steak entree was cooked well but was not a prime cut. My wife's currycrusted Salmon was tasty but unfortunately overcooked. Honestly I'm not sure if I would dine there again.
The food wasn't too bad, calamari was a bit chewy but otherwise delicious. The steak was cooked wonderful but the asparagus was undercooked and still very crunchy, they offered to switch it out but I didn't like any of the other dishes they had. They sayus in the very back of the restaurant where there was one other family with a very rambunctious child, kind of ruined datenight. Otherwise not bad.
