Bigfoot Java - Auburn
Bigfoot Java
Description
**Big Foot Java: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Big Foot Java remains a beloved destination for coffee enthusiasts, known for its consistently excellent drinks and friendly staff. However, recent visits reveal a trend of inconsistent service that has left some patrons disappointed. While many cherish the delightful Mythical Mocha and appreciate the shop’s 24/7 hours, experiences of long waits and overlooked orders have emerged. Despite these setbacks, the warm atmosphere and quality beverages keep customers returning, albeit with hopes for improved service during busy times. Overall, Big Foot Java's charm endures, but attention to order precision could enhance the customer experience further.

I typically don’t visit this location, but I found it to be very busy with four cars lined up on each side. After waiting about ten minutes, I finally reached the front and noticed there were five or six baristas working. I’m not sure why the line was moving so slowly. When it was my turn, the barista asked for my order. I requested a hot 20oz nonfat peppermint latte, but she seemed distracted and mistakenly repeated back an iced 16oz mocha. I corrected her, saying no, and repeated my order. She simply said "okay" and went on to bring me an iced drink. I clarified again that I wanted it hot, but she didn’t apologize or acknowledge my mistake; she just had someone else make the drink. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it still didn’t taste right. It seems like the baristas are more focused on appearance than on making quality coffee. This used to be my favorite spot, but I won't be returning anytime soon.
I always stop by this location because the drinks are consistently well made. However, when I visited on September 15, 2022, around 11 PM, the server had an attitude the entire time. I was very disappointed, as I've always found everyone here to be polite.
I absolutely love grabbing a cold brew at this place. Although I'm not in Auburn very often, I always make sure to stop by for one before I leave.
