Trade Root Lounge - Atlanta

We had Christmas Dinner at Trade Root and expected so much more for the price. The service was off as we sat down for minutes before having to ask for help. We had to ask for everything and dishes piled up on the table before they were removed. The food seemed like some was previously frozen as the crab claws were tired. The boiled shrimp was good but the gnocchi was hard and tough to chew. They had a good cheese display with bread. There were three carving stations but everything was overcooked especially the prime rib. The cost was way too much at a person without drinks and we won’t go back

I would not recommend the Christmas Brunch. It was held in a conferencemeeting space that lacked ambiance. The food was slightly above average. It was very difficult to get service. For the price, the experience was not worth it. The only positive thing I could say is the desert station was impressive

The Resturant was closed on Sunday. It was a huge inconvenience because I invited guest to join me for dinner. However, bar attended allowed us to order from menu. Open able needs to do better job to ensure Resturant is open at time booking is made

I have been there too many times now and every time disappointed. It is mostly about the extremely SLOW service. Seems like there are no waiters! This last time was awful. Had a reservation for breakfast and sat for minutes before a man came to give us coffee or juice. We asked for a waiter to take our order and he said one would come. minutes later he came back to give us water. With two pictures of water in his had he filled three of our four glasses missed serving my boss! and left. Maybe six minutes later our waiter came. And eventually my boss was given water. No return to see how the food was. minutes after eating, finally got the bill to pay. Another for him to retrieve it. I have worked in the restaurant industry for years and with the size of this restaurant, this should never happen. High end prices with horrible service should shut this place down. I will never recommend or return there

For a buffet I never expected a large party holiday special tip to be mandatory!Sad
