I had an amazing date night at this restaurant. The food, wine, atmosphere, and service were all fantastic. This place is absolutely perfect!
When we arrived they sat us outside on the patio as I requested. The food was very average, no depth of flavor on anything and very weird ratios on the seasonings which leads me to believe they haven’t tasted the food, we ordered a variety of things from the menu, the potato’s were grey and under seasoned so was the chicken that came with it (chicken caprese), the bacon was rock solid, the truffle Mac had no truffle which was extremely disappointing for the prince point and was very oily and 90% cheese and under seasoned, the hummus was under seasoned and some of the pita crisps were burnt, The brussel sprouts were dry and again they seem to be heavily relying on cheese, butter and just a smidge of salt for all their seasoning. What brought me to the edge was the bathroom, not only was it extremely unsanitary but it was located right next to the kitchen which was operating in an un unified and hectic manner. The drinks had good flavor but diluted. I will not be spending my money here again.
Unfortunately our meal and drinks here were sub par.. Seems like management is trying to cut costs. The olive juice in our martini was watered down, on purpose. The hamburger bun to our sliders seemed old and was of poor quality. The truffle Mac and Cheese was very oily and the noodles tasted from a box. Lastly the shrimp in the risotto was chopped up into several pieces and the risotto didn’t have much flavor. Only giving two stars because the wait staff was great. Only posting this to hopefully see some change happen as we love coming to this area.
We had a bizarre encounter with the hostess at this restaurant. When we inquired about seating for two in any area - the patio, dining room, or bar - she responded curtly with a simple "No." When we asked if it was possible to be put on a waitlist, her response was again just "no." There was no explanation of the seating system, no offer for us to wait to see if a spot would open up at the bar. While we understand the limited seating due to Covid, it would be helpful if the website stated that reservations are required or if the hostess could provide more information to explain the "No."
