Pho 24 - Feedback
Reviews
Was Lene Hviid at Pho 24 a mag?
The waiter was very nice and funny. They don't serve alcohol here, but they let me take my own beer from next door. The broth was very good. The vegetables could have been a little fresher. They did not give us the typical chili paste, only Sriracha and fish sauce. They had enough meat in the pho, but they needed a few more noodles. I think we're going back here. View all feedback.

Food was delicious. Great selection of Vietnamese cuisine from safe to adventurous choices (tripe). Seemed relatively clean, but very dated and decor was a bit strange and a man began performing constrution with power tools during our dinner. Staff was friendly and eager to serve, very attentive.

Great Vietnamese restaurant, the food was good and the ambience of the restaurant was great! It came highly recommended and we weren't disappointed. We will go back before we leave the area.
We from out of state and came in on a Friday evening around 6pm. Service was okay, nothing stand out. The food came out very quickly, within 5-10 mins after ordering. The vegetables plate appeared to be left out on the counter for a long period of time. Basil and cilantro looked droopy and bean sprout looked shriveled up, not appeared to be fresh at all when compared to another table came in after us. The food was edible at best. I had the fried rice with chicken quarter leg, fried rice was a little hard and chewy which is okay. The chicken was prepared earlier then deep fried again for the crispiness. My daughter had grilled pork rice platter, the rice is hard to chew, the grilled pork isn't freshly made from the grill nor the pan. I think it was microwaved because it was hard and chewy and the pieces with a little fat stuck together. I can't comment on pho but from my wife and kid it was only edible nothing to boast about. Maybe if we had come in earlier in the day it would have been different, but service and food should be indifferent regardless of time of the day. I hope those come in after had a better experience.
Good Vietnamese food We ordered the grilled pork and egg/spring roll noodle salad and a Pho Tai (rare beef noodle soup). They were both delicious with fresh, fragrant herbs and flavours. I didn't like how they automatically included a gratuity when you paid your bill, but the service was fast and we thought that the prices were quite reasonable given the downtown location.
**Dining Experience at a Local Vietnamese Restaurant** Nestled in a spacious but somewhat outdated venue, this Vietnamese restaurant offers a varied menu that appeals to both adventurous eaters and those seeking comfort food. While the service can be hit or miss—ranging from quick deliveries to slow acknowledgment—the dishes largely impress. Guests have praised bowls of flavorful pho and well-prepared vermicelli, though some items like the fried rice and grilled pork may fall short of freshness. While the atmosphere lacks modern charm, the courteous staff and reasonable prices make it a worthy destination for a casual meal. Expect a satisfying taste of Vietnam.
