While some patrons praise the delicious Persian food, kebabs, and great service, others express disappointment in the inconsistent quality, added gratuity, and lackluster atmosphere. Despite minor complaints, many diners appreciate the authentic cuisine, generous portions, and attentive staff, making Persepolis a top choice for those seeking flavorful Persian dishes in Atlanta. Whether you're a seasoned fan or a newcomer to Persian cuisine, Persepolis offers a diverse dining experience that caters to a variety of tastes and preferences.
You cannot find a better tasting meal! Love the owner and staff. It's tucked away, so it's always easy to find a table. But seems to stay consistently busy at lunch and dinner.Food: 5/5
Fantastic time as always. We've been coming for years!! Service is always incredible and food is delicious and perfect for a big family dinner where you can actually HEAR each otherFood: 5/5
Do not recommend this place at all! Not consistent in food quality! I placed a to go order of lamb kabob, koobideh kabob and lamb shank. All meals were stale including rice and meat. I believe the lam shank was not freshly made on the day, maybe they reheated it. We had those for lunch and my family started feeling sick since last night. There are many Persian restaurant in the area with high quality food. My family enjoys Persian food and we order it often. Persepolis should really improve the food quality if they want to be able yo compete in this market.
We arrived on time for our reservation and our table was waiting for us. The kashkobadamjun (eggplant appetizer) is served with fresh herbs and is delicious. You can't go wrong with the kabobs and the tadik (crispy rice).
Been here over 10 times and never had a bad experience or been unsatisfied with the food or service. Their naan is absolutely world class incredible. It's freshly baked, comes to the table hot out of the oven with salted walnuts, blocks of feta cheese, radishes, onions, and more and it's FREE as an appetizer! Sometimes they even bring an extra, if requested! I always get the Soltani kabob, but their barg kabob is excellent too. The rice is fluffy and delicious. Prices may seem initially high on the menu, but with the naan and the fact that there's always leftovers, it's a great value and worth the 45 minute drive! Tried several different Persian places in many cities, but this is my favorite!
