Haven Restaurant Bar - Atlanta
Haven Restaurant Bar
Description
Haven has historically been a favorite spot known for excellent food and quality, but recent visits left some disappointed with declining food quality and service issues. While some diners praised the excellent staff and atmosphere, others found issues with overcooked dishes, lackluster flavors, and limited vegan options. Despite these setbacks, some guests enjoyed their experiences, such as a celebration with delicious dishes and attentive service. With a mix of positive and negative feedback, Haven seems to have its ups and downs, making it a spot worth revisiting for some, but not all.

This is the second time I’ve been to this restaurant and the food was as delicious as it was the first time. So I had to do a review. The corn bread was moist and hot when it came to the table. If you are a corn bread fan like I am this is a must try.Now another favorite of mine is a grilled Caesar salad and Haven did it right. You can’t beat a grilled Caesar salad and Iwish more restaurants would offer this. The Tuna and Salmon dishes were top notch. The quality of the fish was definitely sushilevel and I recommend trying either dish. The restaurant price range is .
This hidden gem is my recent addition to best lunch spots. Pro- Cozy, inside and outside sitting, always amazing crowd, healthy and tasty food Cons- I’m not a big fan of their martini glass????????
I went for brunch with a group of 5 on a Sunday in May. We made a reservation in advance on OpenTable. The inside is pretty dark, but the patio is really nice and green. I wish we had sat out there because it was a beautiful day! Here’s what Ihad: Half Order of Beignets: So nice that they do a half order! They were pretty good, but nothing like New Orleans.Wouldn’t get it again. Spinach Omelet with Brunch Potatoes $13): The omelet was good, but there was pork in it and Idefinitely didn’t ask for pork. The potatoes were perfection though. Good service, good food, but I don’t feel the need togo back.
We had been to Haven for brunch several months ago and decided to try it out for dinner. A healthy pour for a bourbon on the rocks started things off well! The salads were great. The Chicken Shrimp Gumbo was excellent with a very dark roux. Our other entree was Sautéed GA Trout which was also great. Service was very good, too. Overall a very good experience.
Made a reservation for four. All arrived about five minutes early. Instead of seating in the restaurant we were seated on the outside concrete near the service area. Cramped, hot, wobbly table. Awful. Food was just ok but using sliced deli ham for a ham and cheese omelet is just cheap. Potatoes were warm at best after sitting under heat lamps for an extended period of time. Server was excellent but no need to go back.
