Unfortunately, we were unable to dine at this restaurant. Despite making a reservation three weeks in advance for a show, receiving a reminder from OpenTable, and arriving at the restaurant, we found a sign on the door stating that it was closed for dinner. Unable to make a new reservation elsewhere due to my existing OpenTable reservation, which I couldn't cancel online, I was left without a reservation or dinner before the show. I was disappointed with the lack of communication and will not be giving this restaurant another chance.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic! It was my first time trying Mediterranean cuisine and I was thoroughly impressed. Despite being there on a Wednesday evening, the restaurant was completely empty. There was only one server who attended to us throughout the night, but he kept disappearing which was a bit frustrating. When we asked for salt, he brought us a dirty container that was too filthy to use. Although the food took a while to come out, it was worth the wait as it was incredibly delicious. I may give this place another chance on a different night because of the quality of the food.
The hummus appetizer is super good, creamy hummus with really good pita. Only wish there were a few more pita slices on the plate. The Midtown Burger is really quite good. The servers are nice, and its a cozy atmosphere. Would eat here again for sure.
The food at this restaurant is seriously delicious. I went with friends who usually don't like the restaurants in Midtown that I pick, but they loved Mulavi. I hope it becomes popular because the chef is really talented.
Great addition to the city. Good food, really good service. The looks are a bit deceiving. Very casual looking resto but the prices are a bit more than your typical casual restaurant. Not overpriced though. Food is of good quality so worth it.
