The ambiance was fantastic, and the food was both creatively prepared and beautifully presented. I'm not familiar with the standard level of service here, but I had hoped for a more detailed service experience that included information about the chef, the dishes, and their pairings. Valet parking is available and can be validated, or you can opt for the self-parking in the deck, which is charged by the hour.

I booked a reservation for my fiancé’s surprise birthday dinner including a group of friends that came into town. Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm welcome and we were guided to our seats. Along the way to our table, we were fascinated by the wood-burning aromas from the kitchen, the dim lighting, the soft-acoustics in the background of guest conversations, a picturesque view of Buckhead Village and an homely open patio. Our server Brandyn was more than amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and ensured that we had a great experience. Lamont, the manager, made sure that he interacted with all of the guests around the restaurant, helping out his staff as needed. The dinner was truly satisfying! From starters to desserts, the beverages and comfortable seating we felt like we were at a “home-away-from-home!” They provided us with complimentary champagne, green tea-whiskey combo and a special sundae (with a birthday card from the staff) for my fiancé. If you want a restaurant that offers versatile seating (indoors/outdoors), a tastefully satisfying menu, a caring and pleasant staff and an accommodating, intimate ambiance—this is the place. King+Duke gave us all an experience that is unmatched and we’re excited to return!

Went for an early dinner after walking around and were dressed very casual compared to other patrons and were treated without judgement. The food was superb. Tomahawk steak was finger licking and impressively massive. The puff pastry was a welcome difference from normal bread. Again service was impeccable. We received the bone marrow that had very little marrow and they replaced it with another without hesitation and was tasty. If we didn’t have so many other restaurants to try, we would totally come back here again. Highly recommended.

I took off one star because I was a little disappointed that they didn’t do anything for my husbands birthday even though we called upfront and told them while making the reservation thatthis is going to be his birthday dinner and my father-in-law flew into town for his dinner, so that’s a little sad. Wouldn’thave expected much but maybe just a candle and a desert would’ve been nice.
