Grana offers a diverse array of traditional Italian dishes, with standout options like the meatball flight and Neapolitan-style pizzas earning high marks. While many guests praise the food quality and attentive service, experiences can vary; some report delays and a lack of consistency. The restaurant's ambiance, described as industrial, doesn’t always align with the culinary excellence, but the cocktails and desserts impress. A limited menu and occasional service hiccups on busy nights suggest room for enhancement. Nevertheless, Grana remains a favored spot for quick, flavorful meals, making it worth a return visit for many diners.
The staff at this restaurant is extremely attentive and helpful when it comes to selecting dishes. However, the industrial atmosphere doesn't quite complement the delicious traditional Italian food. The desserts and cocktails are delightful though. Definitely worth a return visit.
Calamari and meatballs great...I felt they changed the short rib pasta and added tomato(s) base...it was a reddish color and in the past, it's been a brown sauce (which I like more). The service was a little slow-took a really long time to get our first round of drinks. It is wise to use several servers as you do but still slow. The very bright spot is every dish we ordered was deliscious
Came to enjoy the rooftop outdoor atmosphere. What real got me tall, lighter skin Manager was at the desk and as I'm talking to him he's ignoring me. I'm asking to sit there but instead of him answering me. He speaks to the host and tells her it's shutdown but mind you were all less than six feet away. Then she relys the message like I was invisible. Maybe because I'm black orfemaleor he just lacks professionalism. However he completely dismissed me. I thought that was extremely unprofessional comingfrom me a Manager over 20 plus years but anywho. We were seated quickly. No pressure to hurry up and order. Jessica was the hostshe was helpful knows the menu inside out but she's stretched to the limit. I ordered the Mommas and Local Beef meatballs. Localbeef was my favorite. However they were like room temperature tge cheese wasn't even slightly melted lacked a little salt.Ordered the Roni which was really good. The Dolce for a drink that was in a baby cup with an adult price and it was okay verypretty drink. My daughter ordered the baby gem that was a really large salad two could eat. The shrimp pasta it was good notgreat but good. The desert was a no. She ordered a coke that taste like a watered down diet coke. Sent it back and got a gingerale that was flat. I honestly think this is on purpose to stretch the soda. My sister had the Margherita pizza and my niece Iforgot but the both liked them. The pizza was the best. Valet parking so convenient the guys are nice and fast. Jessica chargedanother tables under to my card smh. Overall I didn't get the experience I wanted and to be honest the Manager or ownerwhichever lacks customer service skills. Probably won't return for a few reason. Food was overall okay nothing to run tell myfriends to go try.
~THE MEATBALL FLIGHT~ Tempted by the photos I found on the reviews, I decided had to try the flight myself. Nonna's currant was deliciously sweet on its own but paired so well with the decadent meat. The restaurant's namesake meatball was a close second butI would truly recommend trying the whole flight. My server was a delight and the $10 happy hour meals were an unexpected find.My only complaint, the pasta was good yet nothing special.
