Unfortunately have to leave a poor review of this establishment because of the terrible treatment by the owner, Hal. While the coffee and food is fine, I have had such frequent terrible experiences with Hal that it makes this establishment a no-go. Hal isoutrageously rude to his customers to the point of being downright hostile. If you wish to own a place in which you deal withcustomers regularly, learn how to deal with them in a professional manner.
Everything here is phenomenal! I've been going here for years and everything from the coffee to the smoothies and food is delicious! Id highly recommend the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant with skillet potatoes if you order food there. It is SOgood!
Hal, the owner, is truly horrendous. I have spent hundreds beyond hundreds of dollars at Drip over the last few years. He has been rude and unprofessional since day one. All the other employees are wonderful, and while the coffee is nearly palatable(albeit overpriced), I have never been treated so poorly by a business owner. We live upstairs, and unfortunately the buildingmanagement is not taking care of a leak that is affecting multiple units and businesses. For some reason Hal blames us for itand in turn has made every experience I have at Drip terrible. The man is egregiously miserable and has managed to put a blackcloud over a neighborhood gem.
I stopped by this spot after a walk. Wanted something easy and didn?t want to try anything new. I got a Ice coffee with 2 shots of espresso no cream and topped it off with cinnamon powder. It was a good cup. I wanted something to eat but at the time I wentthey didn?t have any vegan option in the pastry counter. I also notice no substitute for a vegan breakfast sandwich. So Igrabbed a cookie. I freaking love those cookies and you don?t find them everywhere so it was a plus. The outdoor seating wasnice to people watch after a long walk. Overall I thought it was a decent coffee spot. If I lived in that area I?m sure I?dvisit more to try a variety of the offerings. So the 3 stars was just because I didn?t try any food there.
