Server was nice and attentive. Food was good. Great place for kids as they can spend the meal time watching planes land and take off. Cute playground right outside. Blackened Mahi Mahi tasted fishy but nothing too terrible. Broccoli was fresh and the mashed potatoes was good. Hubby enjoyed his salmon salad. Kids grilled cheese looked rushed as part of the cheese wasn’t melted but daughter didn’t complain. Fries were crunchy! Would recommend!

I ordered the blacke... read more I have been coming to Downwind for years. Don’t let the old ambiance fool you. The food is fantastic and view of the runway is even better! I ordered the blackened grouper since it was one of the specials. It was delicious.
