What Nadia Rogahn dislikes about Batavia:
The food presentation was good and the rendang tasted freshly cooked, not from a pre-made sauce. The noodles were decent, and the chili had a nice kick to it. However, the spiciness overpowered the flavors. Overall, after being away from Singapore for two years, this meal brought me back home with its authentic taste. I would recommend this place. The food was phenomenal. The woman working there was so helpful and nice and showed us the menu and how to order. This is the Bakso Malang and tempe bacem. Really delicious!

Loved this place so much! Was missing Indonesian food so went here with the family and was pleased that all the food tasted authentic and so delicious. Portions are generous and filling. You can also buy and stock on your Indonesian groceries while you’re here.
