They make their own vegan ricotta and it’s SO GOOD. There are 2 veggie pizzas on the menu, or you can build your own and they’re delicious. Crust is perfect, flavor is on point. I love this place. View all feedback.
What T M dislikes about Firepit Pizza Tavern:
My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant before visiting Zoo Atlanta. The food was decent—not outstanding—but our server was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Its location is very convenient to the zoo, and it's also near a cemetery if you're interested in taking a stroll there afterward. View all feedback.
I requested the vegan menu for all vegan options. There were two different red sauce pizzas and two different white sauce pizzas to choose from, as well as build-your-own options. I ordered the white Portabello pizza and a Greek salad. I felt that the pizza could have used more sauce, as it was lacking in that department. I also wished for some marinara sauce to dip the pizza in. However, the salad was tasty. The restaurant offers nice seating options indoors and outdoors, and a good selection of drinks.
I only had the vegan head and it was incredible. the crust was also one of my favorite parts...so flaky and tasty. has not tasted like a certain atlanta pizza joint. I think it's the best vegan pizza in atlanta!
Treat your taste buds and visit this restaurant. It serves the best vegan pizza I've ever tasted. Don't forget to ask for the vegan menu.
We had a fantastic lunch experience today at Firepit Pizza Tavern. The menu offered a wide variety of options, along with enticing daily chef specials. Despite the restaurant being busy, the attentive servers and active manager on duty ensured we received excellent service—thank you! We sampled the Crispy Brussels Sprouts (which were delicious), the Wedge Salad, the Soup, and the Firepit Dip Sandwich (the soft bread and perfectly seasoned meat were a highlight). The portion sizes for all our dishes were generous. We can’t wait to return and are especially excited to try the Pizza Wings. I highly recommend this spot for a business lunch or simply to enjoy some great food in Grant Park—it's wonderful to have them in the neighborhood!
**First Review:** We dined here on a Thursday evening. I wanted to sit outside, but it had rained earlier, so everything was still damp. We opted for a booth, and our server welcomed us. We started with water while perusing the menu. They had a pizza of the day featuring spinach and mushrooms with white sauce, which I decided to order. My boyfriend chose the Portobello pizza. I can’t recall the exact name of his drink, but it was something similar to a mule. Surprisingly, when the pizzas arrived, we realized our choices were quite similar, though there were some minor differences. Both the pizza and drinks were delicious. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!
