Tucked into one of the most historic corners of Kildare — and Ireland itself — this small but mighty pub punches way above its weight. Always a cracking night out here: one minute you could be in the middle of a rock gig, the next you're swept into a trad session you’ll remember for years. That's the magic of this place — you never quite know what you'll walk into, but it’s always good craic. They used to serve food (and it was great), which sadly seems to be on pause for now — hopefully it makes a comeback, because the atmosphere deserves it.
