Beautiful food and excellent service from Martin and his team. I enjoyed a fabulous seafood chowder, followed by seabass for my main course. Martin is hilarious and nothing was ever a problem. The only disappointment was that the gin was served in wine glasses rather than gin glasses, and it came without any fruit or juniper berries. Still, I look forward to returning again soon. Great place for a big group and for photographs by the lake
Very decadent and impressive christmas dinner! We had an amazing time and the food was amazing. Will definitely do it again, highly recommend. Oreo coffee Cheesecake was my favorite! Fast and Friendly service too, constantly checking up if all was fine and food was served quickly even with a full house. Cost atmosphere too. 10/10
Lovely restaurant at a hotel. We had no reservation but we got a table as it wasn't too busy, and the staff was very helpful. We went for a dinner, and the food was delicious the lamb as well as the seabass. The atmosphere is also very cozy and romantic. I can only recommend this place if you are staying at a hotel or driving by
You need a reservation for it. The wine list is decent too and the food is not bad either. Try it out if you are around. Staff is super nice and friendly.

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. Martin and his team greeted us warmly and guided us to our table. The restaurant is stunning, with beautiful decor and soft music playing in the background. The food was outstanding—we both enjoyed the 10oz steak, cooked to perfection, seasoned to perfection, and presented beautifully. The staff delivered excellent service, going above and beyond to make sure our evening was enjoyable. The desserts were delicious and elegantly plated. Although it’s a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth every penny for the exceptional food and service. I would happily pay again without hesitation. Highly recommended!
I had an unforgettable birthday celebration at L'escale. Gabor offered exceptional service, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary Prosecco and a birthday message on my dessert. We stayed at Hodson Bay Hotel and dined at the restaurant. The service was excellent, with warm and attentive staff. It was my son’s 11th birthday, and they made it truly special by having the entire restaurant sing Happy Birthday to him and preparing a custom dessert just for him. Delicious meal. The tortellini was outstanding. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The soup was incredibly creamy, and the crumble was absolutely to die for. There was an endless supply of bread and butter. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had a large meeting, and they handled it perfectly. I have nothing negative to say about the food.

We had a wonderful meal as part of our weekend package at the hotel. I highly recommend the wine tasting with Andres on Saturday night—he was very informative and knowledgeable about the wines.
