We went because it was the closest to Castrillo that we could eat without having reserved. The meat with more shadows than lights, little was saved. The chickpeas have a lot of paprika flavor. The soup had aroma but less flavor than it seemed. The custard and pasta were delicious. Quick and willing service. But I wouldn't go back...approved. Just.
Excellent place to eat a good Maragato stew. Good meat and well cooked. The cabbage and chickpeas, delicious. In February 2017 it costs €20 per adult and €8 for children, bread, drinks and coffee included. (I update in 2022 and add a star. In all this time I have not found a better place to eat cooked food)
We ate the cocido maragato menu and we fell in love with the restaurant, the food was delicious and abundant, the service was great, very economical, €20 per person, I had been there years ago and I will return!
The stew is delicious. Price of the stew 20 euros per person. With dessert drink and coffee.
Easygoing Meson in this lovely small village. All in and all day Pilgrims menu and some a la carte dishes. The all in menu was excellent value for €10 pp. A great starter of a plate with quality thinly sliced air dried ham, beef, sausage and a wedge of good cheese. Main course of delicious fried pork loin with mixed salad. Ice cream for dessert. Good bread and a bottle of wine for 2 persons included. Friendly owner. Recommended.
