A pretty rustic hotel very close to the Basilica di San Francesco. Impeccably clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice. Highly recommendable.

I stopped for lunch at Ristorante Minerva with a friend while visiting Assisi. It was a wonderful refuge from the hot July midday sun! We enjoyed a lovely lunch, starting with local 'antipasti ' plates- the charcuterie board, the Polpa di Pomodoro (tomatoes with bread crumbs and fresh basil), the Crostini with Liver Patê, Tomatoes, and Mushrooms, and finally the Srambled Eggs with Truffles. From there we decided to taste the homemade Umbricelli pasta with sausage, which was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes of the antipasti and the pasta were generous enough to satiate both of us, leaving us feeling light and refreshed to continue visiting Assisi.

I want to express my gratitude for a very delicious lunch. Walking around the city, we found a restaurant at the hotel. We ordered pasta, beef in sweet and sour sauce, local red wine and creme brulee for dessert. All the dishes were a great pleasure. I highly recommend the creme brulee for dessert. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality. Cozy, tasty, fast.

Excellent location, above the Saba parking lot in Piazza San Giovanni, near the Basilica of San Francesco. Breakfast was also good. The room, however, was so-so. Despite being on the third floor, it had two windows overlooking the wall, so it was dark and cold. There was also no wifi or cell phone reception.
