What User doesn't like about Pine Creek Cookhouse:
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant and cannot recommend it. I drove three hours to visit based on its excellent reviews, but unfortunately, they did not live up to the hype. When I arrived, the host was incredibly rude. I ordered an elk dish, but it was served cold. When I asked for a hamburger instead, it came completely overcooked and bloody, making it inedible. That was our second time to eat here. the food was excellent, but the service was missing definitiw. there was a table with 6 diner next to our table with only us. they sat a little after us. our waiter was very attentive to this table, but all ignored us. Once another person delivered our food, the waiter never disturbed us to check. When it was time for the bill, he brought it with him, of course. the service did not live at the same level as the first time we had eaten here.
One of the best spots in the Aspen Valley for lunch or dinner.
Expected a bit more out of the menu/food for the price
Everything from beginning to end is spectacular! The food is delicious and the view is amazing!
Pinecreek Cookhouse is a special place. It’s unfortunate that the entire staff is so cold and behave as though they could not care less to have you there as a guest.
