Henry Clay Inn - Ashland

We went on a girls' trip to participate in the Ashland half marathon, and the location was fantastic! We could easily walk right to the starting line. The inn was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast after our race. Rooms: 5/5.

Unfortunately, my experience at this once-great brunch spot was disappointing. The mixed drinks and food were not up to par. I hope they can return to the quality they once had. Rating: 1/5.

This is a quaint little bed breakfast that is absolutely gorgeous! The decor is warm inviting. This city is known for the railroads the Inn sits directly behind the train station. Kevin Milton are wonderful hosts, very friendly. Breakfast was great and very appreciated! I encourage you to stay at the Henry Clay Inn...a wonderful, relaxing experience!Nearby activities: Great restaurants, shops, theater, museum library.Safety: Very safe to walk around. Lots of people everywhere. Saw several police riding through. A couple of them even stopped accessed the area.Walkability: Almost everything is in walking distance. ice cream, convenient stores, movies, small local shopsFood drinks: The Iron Horse restaurant is a must for lunch or dinner. Food, drinks atmosphere is awesome!

Ambiance was underwhelming for what we expected. Mixed drinks were gross. Brunch was pretty good. One and done for me.Rooms: 3/5
