Unfortunately, we couldn't be with our extended family for Thanksgiving at the last minute. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that Cracker Barrel was open on Thanksgiving Day and offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner along with their regular menu. It was a very nice experience. View all feedback.
What Bernita Jenkins doesn't like about Cracker Barrel Old Country Store:
The service at this restaurant is horrible. I ordered the bacon n egg hashbrown casserole with no tomatoes. Of course, it came with tomatoes. I had to wait for a new meal. When my meal was brought out, I asked for a coffee refill jelly. 10-15 min went by still no coffee. If they are in the ashland and they are looking for a good breakfast, then keep them on this cracker barrel! eating is always super tasty and customer service is always a!
Great dining experience. Cracker Barrel rarely misses the mark! Our server was attentive, food was fast and our 1 year old was very happy and excited by all the commotion! Food was well made and quick, really can't ask for more. Traveler tip on this location is the gift shop was really outstanding with a great selection. Seemed better than usual.
I have eaten at the Ashland VA location many times, but this is my first review. I have never had a bad meal and always enjoy the atmosphere. Love the country theme and store. Always feels welcoming. I love the old fashioned candies and my kids always find a unique toy. I love Cracker Barrel!

I will not dine here again.
We’ve eaten dinner here the past two nights as we’re staying next door at the Holiday Inn while our power is out due to a blizzard. Yesterday we dined in with Pace as our waiter. He was so friendly and just a great waiter. The food was perfect and came out fast even though they only had two servers due to the blizzard. We ordered takeout tonight and the food was hot, delicious and exactly what we ordered. If we’re still here tomorrow, we’ll be eating here again.
