This is a return visit, we were last here before the pandemic. The restaurant is clean and looked much like before. The food and drinks are still excellent. We, each, had bone marrow salad. I had scallops with risotto, my husband had the ribeye steak. They were well cooked (not over cooked), well presented and delicious. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. We had nothing to criticize and very grateful to be t... View all feedback.
What Deon Gerlach dislikes about Smithfields:
Went here for a birthday meal. Choose because I was looking for a good ribeye steak and there menu sounded good. When I ordered the ribeye the waitress told me they had a special ribeye that would be much better than their normal ribeye so I ordered it. It was Ok but I am not sure it was a ribeye at all. Frankly I have had better ribeyes at home and this one was not worth the $50.00 they charged. Service was just OK.... View all feedback.
We sat at a nice table outside in a beautiful environment. At first we were turned off a bit because there was a large group of Paleo people coming to din, there were some of the elements for them to store from the menu. I don't know if they were prioritized for dinner. But our waiter was wonderful and we ended the order of the brisket, which we would not normally have done and it was delicious, so it worked out everything. We would recommend coming here, just make sure that there is no big group because they will limit you to what you can order.

Guess next year I will just buy a nice ribeye and cook it at home.
Food was good. Service adequate. I was disappointed that my favorite dish was taken off the menu but the risotto was good.
One of our favorite places to eat in Ashland. Always creative menu offerings, great quality ingredients, amazing craft cocktails, and service is spot on.
