Taj Indian Cuisine - Ashland

The food at the lunch buffet all tasted very good and I especially enjoyed the butter chicken sauce. Unfortunately the staff did not smile or make us feel welcome. Their expressions and vibe almost felt hostile, which interfered with our experience. They need a consultant to explain how guests on vacation would like to be received.

As Indian food is new to me. I would have liked a bit more “help” navigating through the menu and Buffett. However I just dove in blindly and tried a little of most stuff on the Buffet. I was not disappointed. Everything I tried was unique and oh so delicious. I would highly recommend trying this place. I think blindly trying the recipes was the way to go. Taste buds were definitely on a trip!! Can not wait to explore more of their menu.

I love Indian food! I ordered a lamb Tikka and the meat was extremely tough.. The garlic Naan was a little burnt... Nice atmosphere though. Mango Lassi was good. Samosa pastry was salty, and the potato filling lacked flavor. First time visiting Ashland, OR so I had to try.

Taj is an amazing restaurant! I went to the buffet today and had a great customer service experience. I arrived later than I wanted to, but the servers working at Taj welcomed me and allowed me to still eat at the buffet. I went to the restaurant for dinner a couple weeks ago, and had the same couple of servers that I had today. They always give good vibes and are very welcoming. The food was the best part! I love Taj Indian Cuisine because I always leave satisfied and excited to eat there again. Thank you!

The quality of food and service is outstanding! We have gotten take out many times and recently decided to try the lunch buffet twice. The servers are attentive, gracious, and smiley. The food is flavor filled and so comforting. The experience of food and people leave you feeling relaxed and happy to be alive. We will be back! Thank you Taj staff for your welcoming generosity
