The tortellini was the best ever... read more The food was outstanding !!! I am Italian and as such it is very hard to impress me with Italian food. Lorella did just that!!! The tortellini was the best ever and the bolognese sauce exquisite. Everything we had was delicious with the exception of the halibut. It was encrusted but a bit dry and over cooked. The bartender made up drinks for 2 of us and they were fantastic. A true mixologist !!!!! Next Ashland trip Lorella is at the top of our list

The menu of local fare was intriguing and... read more My daughter and I had a wonderful meal at Lorella before an evening play at OSF. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu of local fare was intriguing and offered many different options. My daughter is vegetarian and was delighted by the number of choices she had. We shared a tomato salad and a pear and cheese bruschetta for out first course and both were delicious. We were almost full after that, but soldiered on...I had an herb and spice crusted halibut with a variety of vegetables that was perfectly done. My daughter had a vegetarian pasta with beautiful and unique vegetables. We read through the dessert menu, which all sounded wonderful, but we just didn't have room to enjoy them. My only issue is that the space is a bit noisy, in general, but we were able to hear each other and the hubbub was so happy that it really was not a problem. All in all a great meal!

Cocktails were savvy and presentation was flawless. Menu is the perfect size we shared four plates and everything was delicious. Staff picked out an awesome bottle of wine for the occasion; prices were super reasonable. Ambience is laid back but classy. Highly recommend for anything from casual dining to special occasions.
