We had a family Christmas get together at this restaurant on Sunday which the 9 of us enjoyed very much. The yum cha had a good selection of dishes and we were also able to order noodle and vegetable dishes from the menu. Everything was tasty and well cooked. The waiting staff was friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a lovely afternoon. View all feedback.

8 of us shared a banquet on a Saturday night at $38 per person. The choice of mixed entree, 5 mains and rice and fruit platter was uninspiring - mongolian lamb, pork spare ribs, king prawns with snow peas (good), szechuan chilli chicken (good), fried mixed vegetables. The fruit platter consisted of just orange slices and watermelon slices, very ordinary. For the price, it would have been better to order individual dis... View all feedback.
The Golden Times Chinese Restaurant is inside the Ashfield Leagues Club and their Yum Cha menu has a great selection of dumplings, noodles and buns. It’s a busy and noisy restaurant and you feel like you have been transported to Hong Kong for the day. #chineserestaurant
Very nice seafood!! Unforgettable lobster sashimi and stir fried mub crab.<br/ Was told its now under complete new management and new chef team.<br/ <br/ Will definitely go again for yum cha.<br/ Free parking by the club is definitely a bonus
This restaurant is in the Wests Ashfield Leagues Club. We came here to celebrate Mother's Day with a yum cha brunch. Lucky we got here early as when we were leaving it was packed and the queue was out the restaurant and then some! <br/ <br/ The service here is variable. When you managed to get their attention they were helpful but other times you would need try and wave them down without success. The variety of yum cha offered was slightly limited as the same food items on the trolleys kept coming round and the request for new items were forgotten. Luckily what we did receive was tasty. We enjoyed the steamed dim sum items as they had nice fillings and were quite flavourful.
If you are around inner west and craving for yum cha. This is the place to go. I wouldn't say this is the best place of all but definitely a place you should visit. I would highly recommend mango pancake for dessert.
My housemates and I felt like Yum Cha a few Sundays ago and we were looking for a new place to try. After looking at a few reviews and articles, we decided to give Golden Times Chinese Restaurant in West Ashfield Leagues a try. <br/ Awesome decision. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed everything we ordered. Am bad with the names of the yum cha dishes so I'll let the pics speak for themselves. <br/ Will definitely go back with a bigger group to order more.<br/ Apparently becoming a member of the leagues club gives a dining discount, so will consider it next time.<br/
