I recently visited Asheville and made it a point to stop by Vortex, a place known for its vegan yeast donuts. It was a unique experience, and I must say the donuts were quite good!
I loved the wide variety of options, and the doughnuts we tried were incredibly flavorful and delicious!
The doughnuts were pretty good…however not really worth the 20 minute wait in line. This is a very popular place so just be prepared depending on when you get there. Also kind of disappointing that they didn't have any vegan cake doughnuts when I went. Next time I'd go right when they open
Would give 5 stars if everything were vegan. Good news is that a majority of the menu is vegan and they're all delicious.
