Contribute Feedback What George S. Raptis likes about Mamacita's Taqueria:
Had the Taco Queso with Birria and have been haunted by its deliciousness for days. The included consome broth was a little shot that you sip to savor. Washed down with a bright citrus-forward jamaica and forget about it, you might as well be in Mexico. View all feedback.
What Bell Tower Booking Agency doesn't like about Mamacita's Taqueria:
Watch out for the old lady at the register who acts like she can’t speak English and then your bill is $5 too much. Then when i ask for a recieipt, they say check email. I do, but nothing. View all feedback.
We are from Charlotte, and every time we visit Asheville, we go to Mamacitas. The food is delicious and the people working there are sweet and kind.
None of the employees spoke English very well which made it kind of hard to communicate when I had a question and when an issue came up with them being out of an item. The food was good.
I don't like writing bad reviews and often will delete but I've had it with this place. I have come here numerous times and recommended it but like another review said, they like to nickel/dime you and don't care about locals since its a tourist driven town now. It started a couple years back being charged for putting my salsa on the side instead of on top even though it’s a FREE item. They also have been charging me extra for adding sweet potatoes even though they are a free topping. To make matters worse they put the wrong salsa on my burrito and instead of offering to remake it, the guy there was quite rude with his expression trying to hand me the salsa I wanted while the other salsa was still in my food. I have reached out about the overcharges and instead of making it right they just dance around it because they could care less!
Started going to mamacitas at the Charlotte street location but stopped here on Sunday because the other location was closed. Our party had grilled fish, grilled shrimp, and fried Baja fish. Both tacos and a salad. We liked this location because it has a build your own style service like chipotle (choose toppings). We parked across the street for $3 at la zoom and ate outside so we could watch our bikes on the vehicle racks.
Best horchata I’ve ever had. Great Mexican the Camaron asada tacos I got were fresh to order and delicious. Will be back!
