Visited for an anniversary and left hungry, disappointed, and considerably lighter in the wallet. Service was very friendly but overall atmosphere was odd and cramped. We ordered mains and cocktails and I’m sad to say we didn’t like a single thing. My cocktail tasted like I was drinking cigarette ash and lime juice and I can truly say I’ve never had something that bad before. My husband made it through his drink somehow but I couldn’t even get through 1/4 of mine. The trout was totally bland and unseasoned, if you’ve had cafeteria fish sticks then you’ve had the trout! It needed salt and then literally any type of seasoning to make it workable. It came with raw cauliflower and sliced grapes in some kind of smelly cheese purée that was wrong in every way for me. Warm grapes and smelly cheese and unseasoned trout meant I didn’t eat half my dish. Husband got the duck and it wasn’t seared at all, just rubbery and half raw with a limp sauce that didn’t stand out. We got Chick-Fil-A on the way home because we were starving and it rescued our night
Great neighborhood restaurant away from the crowds. They change the menu daily and offer a wonderful, seasonal variety locally sourced. You could easily make a meal on the appetizers and small plates. Funky decor and creative cocktails add to the fun. Service: Dine in
Chefs lineup for our dinner was very impressive. Servers were personable and made excellent recommendations. Drinks made for great pairings. Definitely recommend
Nice atmosphere but our food was so so. I got the fingerling potatoes, which were good, but nothing extraordinary. My husband got the duck confit croquettes which were better. The harissa sauce was delicious. The trout had large and somewhat flavorlesschunks of potatoes and squash. His flounder was a smaller plate, but tastier. We also got the golden milk brulee (not pictured)which had good flavor, but the texture was off, slightly curdled. The grapefruit shrub cocktail was frankly the best part of themeal.
